The Market Map is a new powerful tool for spotting investment trends and opportunities using the principles of intermarket analysis. The tool was developed using ideas of investors who was looking for better visual representation of latent opportunities for stock market analytics.

Market Map is a kind of interactive tree map visualization that shows the changing stock prices or other indicators of all securities in the Watch List in a single window, providing users with a real-time overview of the traded market at a single glance.

The Market Map consists of a set of points. They are placed on the Map according to the values on the vertical and horizontal axes. On the axis there can be plotted any indicator which is displayed in the WatchList as a column. Each point can represent a single company, a market sector or even specific values of different indicators. Their color saturation encodes the number of symbols with the price value which is in a certain range. Intensive blue color corresponds to the maximum number of symbols and white color indicates the minimal number of symbols in the range. Instead of security's price you can choose any indicator to be the basis of grading.

This tool not only gives an innovative view of the market as a whole, but also allows creating personal queries and watch lists. You don't need to deep into any special language to make a query. Just select an area you are interested in on the Market map and your query is ready. At the same time the information about all the securities in the query is shown in a pop-up window.
